Background On Don Defoe

Don DeFoe started out delivering flowers as a teenager and a few years later opened his own shop out of his parent's basement in 1962. Since then he's won national awards for his flower designs. He's put together arrangements for a US President and the 1996 Olympic Game.  When Don DeFoe put his name on his business nearly 50 years ago he says he had one goal above all others:
“Quality. I've built the business on quality," he says.
Lately, Don closed his well known Sunset Hills shop –
but Don is still around. He has joined forces with Walter Knoll Florist
joining the staff as designer and design trainer –
with his AIFD master designer status he will be working a lot at the design table.
“We are proud that Don has selected us to share his knowledge with us” says Walter Knoll III.
